When she’s not pretending to be a rockstar with purple hair, Heather Novak can be found crafting LGBTQ+ romances with disability representation. She’s also a columnist for Hypoparathyroidism News, where she talks about life with her rare disease. Heather’s work as an award-winning author and advocate earned her a spot on BEQ Magazine’s 40 LGBTQ+ Leaders Under 40 list in 2021.

Heather is full of bisexual glitter and is pretty sure her left arm is haunted. She lives in southeast Michigan with Mr. Heather and a collection of musical instruments and mobility aids.
